GvX fashion and results

I talked about the Turf GvX (among other topics) in seminars and in conversations at the Swiss Greenkeepers Association Autumn Meeting.

I didn’t notice it at first, but after I’d been talking with Randy for a while on Wednesday morning, I noticed his shirt features the GvX equation!

That’s one way to remember it, and is certainly a fun way to come to a turfgrass meeting.

What is it that people like about the GvX? The reports I hear from turfgrass managers include results like this:

• improved playing conditions
• better control (consistency) of playing conditions
• sward species composition moves in the right direction
• precise management of organic material with less disruption
