I was at Copenhagen Golf Club on Monday for seminars with the Danish Greenkeepers Association. See some photos of the day here. One of my presentations was about green speed—I called it Stimp Stats.

Last week I led a seminar about MLSN on Monday. Then I did it again on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. In these approximately three hour seminars each day, I went into a lot of detail about MLSN.

I’ve recorded a quick video to describe the presentation I delivered at Nutranta’s Best Practices seminar last week. I spoke about a continuous improvement system for turfgrass. In the presentation, I mentioned the article A Year of Measuring Putting Green Performance by Chris Hartwiger.

Most of you will be familiar with the GreenKeeper App. It is a decision support tool for turfgrass professionals that includes pest outbreak models, product (and growing degree day) tracking, weather reporting and much more.

I’ll be at Nutranta’s Best Practices seminar on 20 November to talk about soil nutrient and soil organic matter testing. I’m not sure the exact title I’ll use, maybe Turf nutrition and soil organic matter: continuous improvement through testing or A system to get better conditions year after year or The inevitable consequences of regular rootzone measurements.

The last time the Oregon GCSA asked me to speak, the year was 1997, my topic was “An internship at Augusta National Golf Club,” and I showed a carousel full of slides using a real slide projector.
