&lt;p>I didn&amp;rsquo;t notice it at first, but after I&amp;rsquo;d been talking with Randy for a while on Wednesday morning, I noticed his shirt features the GvX equation!&lt;/p>

&lt;p>That&amp;rsquo;s one way to remember it, and is certainly a fun way to come to a turfgrass meeting.&lt;/p>
&lt;p>What is it that people like about the GvX? The reports I hear from turfgrass managers include results like this:&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>improved playing conditions&lt;/li>
&lt;li>better control (consistency) of playing conditions&lt;/li>
&lt;li>sward species composition moves in the right direction&lt;/li>
&lt;li>precise management of organic material with less disruption&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
