I’ve been doing some of the updates since spring, and all of them since mid-summer, and I list—below—all the 125 PACE Turf updates so far this year to show you the range of material covered.

I’ve recently acquired the PACE Turf information service from its founders, Drs. Wendy Gelernter and Larry Stowell. We’ve shared details of this in the Announcements section of the PACE Turf website, and this article by John Reitman at TurfNet has additional information.

I’ve been curious about which types of content are most preferred by those who follow ATC. So I asked, in a survey last week. I first sent the survey directly to the subscribers of the ATC blog by email list.

I’ve shared the posts from 2021 that got the most views. Then there are these that got the fewest. I think these are more interesting than the top 10, actually. These cover a broader range of topics.

These posts had the most views in 2021. You’ll see there are two main topics that were read the most. The top four posts were about organic matter management and coring and that sort of thing.

These posts had the most views in 2019. Here they are, counting down from ten to one. [10] January, Ranking Turf Twitter in 2018 took a look at “influential” accounts in the industry.

Someone asked me that question while we were working at a golf tournament. The best way depends on just how much info you want, how often you want to hear from me, and the type of information you prefer to get.

I enjoyed the article about growing degree days in the Australian Turfgrass Management Journal. Dan Cook wrote about our discussions of this and how it has been implemented at Elanora Country Club.
